Victoria Strong is a 20-year veteran in the field of child abuse prevention and has held the position of Executive Director for the Front Range Center for Assault Prevention for the past 14 years. She is also the mother of three children ranging in age from 26 -15 and is the grandmother of a precious 3 year old grandson. Her experience as a mother for the past 26 years has provided incredible insight to the importance of educating families about abuse prevention.
“Protecting our children is the most important job as a parent and the best protection we can offer our children is teaching them how to self protect! Children are vulnerable to assault, but they are not powerless to prevent it…if they know what to do!”
Strong founded the Front Range Center for Assault Prevention, the Colorado Chapter of the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Program. Their mission is to empower children and adults to live Safe, Strong and Free lives by educating communities how to prevent bully assault, stranger abduction and sexual assault. Using a three prong community-oriented approach, she has educated and empowered over 95,000 school children, their parents and school staff at more than 450 Colorado schools.

“The only effective way to protect our children is for everyone to join the prevention team-parents, children and the other important adults in their lives like their teachers.”

Victoria presents in schools, youth organizations, parenting groups, trainings for doctors, nurses, police officers and many local businesses. Ms. Strong has a degree in Clinical Psychology and Child Development and is a licensed Family Therapist. She also holds a MBA specializing in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. She conducts media interviews, workshops, and private consultations throughout the United States regarding issues of child safety and child sexual assault prevention.
