She was formerly the Vice President of Operations for a network of over 400 pre-schools and 7,000 plus children and is an award winning teacher being the recipient of the prestigious “Teacher of the Year Award” for outstanding & innovative curriculum design. She started and managed a chain of 13 private non-profit schools, toddler care and pre-schools and K-8 schools and is the author of "Cooking by the Handful".
