Pete has been with ServiceMaster since 1985. He has worked in all facets of a franchise business. He began in 1985, as a helper for ServiceMaster of Oak Park, in Oak Park, IL. In 1987, he became Operations Manager for ServiceMaster Services, an On-Lo Distributorship in Chicago. In 1994, he became Production and Operations Manager for ServiceMaster West Suburban Hub.

In May 1995, he joined the home office as Regional Operations Manager. In January 1996, he became Director of Information Systems, where he developed the X-SITE suite of programs.

In March 2000, Pete joined the Disaster Restoration Department, where he is currently responsible for Training and Program Implementation. His responsibilities include technical development for Disaster Restoration program and systems.

He is responsible for training of new franchise owners in both business management and technical issues. He also serves a technical resource and consultant to our owners for water, mold and specialty loss situations. He has been called on by insurance companies to provide consulting services when other restoration companies are performing recovery services.

Pete is a member of The Clean Trust Board of Directors and is 2nd Vice-president. He is also active with RIA, ACAC and IAQA. He holds many industry certifications including Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer and Master Textile Cleaner through The Clean Trust and is a CRM (Certified Mold Remediator) and CMRS (Certified Mold Remediation Supervisor) through the IAQA. Additionally he is a certified instructor through The Clean Trust in Water, Fire and Odor Control.

Pete has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Business Management, from Concordia University in River Forest, IL. He and his wife Michelle live in Arlington TN. Both are very active with the Boy Scouts of America. Pete has served as a Scoutmaster for over 15 years, as well as many training related positions.
