I am a Pediatric Registered Dietitian at the Colorado Children’s Hospital, adjunct faculty at Metro State University of Denver. I have worked as a Research Dietitian for the Autism Treatment Network and for three and a half years I was a nutrition LEND Fellow at JFK Partners (LEND- Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disorders, it is a training grant).
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University and my Masters of Science from Colorado State University. Currently, I am completing my Ph.D. in Nutrition Sciences at Colorado State University and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical campus. My degree is a consortium between the two schools. My dissertation is pertaining to diet and nutrition for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. I recently became a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Society, a national collegiate honor and service organization.
I feel honored working with such terrific families at the Colorado Children’s hospital. I work with families who struggle with picky eaters, address potential nutritional inadequacies and possible toxicities due to supplement use. I schedule every patient and family based on their availability in order to accommodate their hectic and busy schedules.
