In his more than 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Jason has held virtually every front of the house position in various cities along the East Coast. It was in New York City where his attraction to the hospitality industry evolved as he honed his skills working in a number of exceptional city restaurants for a total of seven years.

After his stint in New York, Jason moved to North Carolina where he spent the next five years working at two upscale dining establishments. At the Second Empire Restau­rant & Tavern, Jason served as the Restaurant Manager and Beverage Director, and helped the restaurant achieve annual receipt of the DiRoNA, AAA Four Diamond and Wine Spectator awards. In his next role, Jason served as Restaurant Manager for Herons Restaurant in the Umstead Hotel & Spa. In this world-class dining establish­ment, he was responsible for overall operations while ensuring that the restaurant held true to its strict dining service standards.

This long journey eventually brought Jason to Gracie’s where he regards his role as one of constant improvement. He is always learning, evolving and adapting to maintain a menu and level of service that is exceptional and fresh. Jason resides in Providence and is a member of the U.S. Bartenders Guild. He is also accomplished in an arena outside of the hospitality industry: photography.
