I am the director of Deaf Education at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Our program focuses on the training of classroom teachers of deaf and hard of hearing children. I have also been the director of Deaf Education at the University of Southern Mississippi and Lamar University, and classroom teacher and coach at the Louisiana School for the Deaf and the New Mexico School for the Deaf.

It has been my privilege to train teachers of the deaf in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and The Peoples’ Republic of China. My publications include three books, two book chapters, and numerous articles in professional publications.
