Emma is a Certified Senior Advisor®, Certified Franchise Executive and a successful franchise industry veteran. With nearly 20 years of experience in franchise management, Dickison’s credits include helping to build two of the country’s top franchise brands.

Prior to joining Home Helpers in 2007, Dickison was the Vice President of Operations for Sylvan Learning Center, where she was responsible for more than 1,000 franchise units worldwide. Prior to Sylvan, Dickison spent 14 years with Blockbuster, serving the last six years as its National Director of Franchise Operations.

Dickison believes she couldn’t be happier with her decision to join the Home Helpers team. “This career gives me the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives every day,” she said. “We strive to deliver the same exceptional care for the families we serve as we would expect for our own families – and for ourselves. As long as exceptional care remains at Home Helpers’ core, our system will thrive.”

With Dickison at the helm, Home Helpers continues to lead the way in the senior care industry and was recently ranked the #1 Senior Care Franchise and “Best of the Best” by Entrepreneur magazine for the fifth straight year. With a solid presence in more than 600 communities in North America, Home Helpers added 100 franchised units in 2008 alone, expanding its caregiving network to be “the extended family when the family can’t be there.”

Dickison has a BA from the University of Florida and has lived in Cincinnati with her daughter since 1995. She has served as a board member of the Women’s Franchise and Distribution Forum and is active in the International Franchise Association.
