Contact me for: Answers to specific questions regarding Classical System and training your horse with this system; clinics for the beginning phase of this system both for horse and rider in dressage and or jumping.

I trained FOXIE for the first four years of his career in jumping and dressage. I taught his rider, Desiree Smith-Johnson to ride him and compete him to the Junior International Level for Area II, when their training was taken over by Jim Wofford, an Olympic and World Championship rider. Foxie and Desiree completed 5 selection trials and was selected to ride for the United States at the Kentucky World Championship Three Day Event at Lexington, in 1978.

I rode with the Blue Ridge Hounds for seven years and won my colors with that Hunt. I trained another home grown TB to third level and he competed at Advanced level at Rolex. I trained horses for dressage and hunting, rehabilitated spoiled horses and gave clinics. My specialty has always been the starting of young horses and riders or rehabilitating them. I use the Classical system for all if my work.

I am also a novelist with five published novels to my credit. They are referred to as THE MOCKINGHILL BIRD SERIES. They are fiction and concern themselves with the history of the Low-Country of South Carolina, where I was born and reared. Available on Amazon. I am currently working on novel No. six.
