Donald P. Mazzella is COO Information Strategies, Inc., a company that helps business managers increase profits and consumers live healthier lives.

Among the Internet publications are those serving more than 4.5 million opt-in small business readers and healthcare industry consumers and stakeholders. The company also provides information about Health Savings Accounts through its publication, www.hsafinder.com, the premier site for HSAs.

Mr. Mazzella holds BA,(1965) MA (1968)and MBA (1972) degrees from NYU and has taught at that university as well as others. He also completed all course work for a PhD in history at NYU where he was president of the GSAS alumni association.

Mr. Mazzella has spoken at leading industry conferences and is the co-author of a book on marketing to small businesses. He has also worked with book and magazine publishers as an editorial and production packager and advisor.

Prior to ISI, Mr. Mazzella was the Publisher and Editorial Director of Income Opportunities magazine which was owned by Essence Communications. Under his leadership the publication won a National Press Club award as the best consumer publication.

He has previous senior management experience with Thomson-Reuters, McGraw-Hill and Informatics.

His editorial experience includes stints with a number of national publications as editor and writer. His editorial work as a contributing editor or freelancer has appeared in the NY Times and other national publications.

He is certified as an expert witness in printing, trademark and publishing in the Federal Southern District of New York.

A nationally known speaker, he has appeared on television (MSNBC, Bloomberg) and radio programs as well as being quoted in such publications as The Wall Street Journal.
