David is a tenacious trial lawyer and an authority on Michigan’s no-fault law. He is Chairman of the Michigan Association for Justice’s no-fault committee and is deeply involved in promoting legislation to improve the no-fault system to help accident victims. He testifies before the Michigan legislature and is involved in lobbying efforts in this regard.

His success in the courtroom has led to David being invited to lecture at dozens and dozens of seminars and workshops for lawyers. He has made many appearances at the Michigan Association for Justices annual No-Fault Institute, the state’s largest and most important no-fault seminar.

His expertise has also led to him being appointed to key positions that directly affect the development of Michigan’s no-fault law. This includes:
- Secretary of the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ)
- Chair of the No-Fault Legislation Committee of the MAJ
- Chair of the Negligence Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan in 2010-2011
- Serving on the State Bar’s Representative Committee

In 2012 David was also been voted to be a “Leader in the Law” by Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly, the statewide newspaper serving the attorney community. Only 25 of Michigan’s 43,000 lawyers were selected for this award.

Giving Back:
David Christensen is extremely involved in his community. He has served on the boards of many non-profit charitable organizations. He was the Chairman of the board of Trustees of the HelpSource Agency, the largest social services agency in Washtenaw County. HelpSource operated 12 separate agencies dealing with substance abuse, teen mothers, abused and neglected children, foster children and many more. It had over 130 employees and nearly 1,000 clients. He also served on the Washtenaw Council on Alcoholism, and the board of directors of Spectrum Prevention Services in Ann Arbor.

David earned his law degree, with honors, and a Masters Degree from the University of Michigan.
